He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Blackman and Katherine Blackman; his daughter Linda Regano; and his siblings, Doris Secor, Harold, Kenneth, Edward and Francis.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; his daughter Brenda Keller (Eric); his grandchildren, Meghan Chaverri (Andrew), Brooke Wallace (Austin), Adam Regano (Kim Neilly), Justin Keller and Jenelle Keller (Jarred Smith); and his great grandchildren, Derek, Cooper, Levi and Adelina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home (127 E Miller St, Newark, NY 14513). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Newark Cemetery (701 N Main St, Newark, NY 14513).
In lieu of flowers memorials in his name may be made to Project Lifesaver or the Wayne County Sheriff's K-9 Unit both located at 7376 State Route 31, Lyons, NY 14489.
