He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mather and Helen Mather; and his sister Jeanne Ziliox. He is survived by: his wife Anne Marie Mather (Potvin); his sisters, Virginia McGarry and Mary Farina; his siblings-in-law, William L. Potvin, Dr. Mitchell L. Potvin and Patricia Potvin; his children, Lori Anne Harris (Jim), Michele Seddon (Tim Potter), Karen Hickey (Peter), Bill Jr. Mather (Jodi) and Stephen Mather (Linda); his grandchildren, Danny, Brian and Abby Harris; and his children, Jack, Noah Potter, Liam, Aidan, Nolan Hickey, Joey, John, Julianna, Emma and Ben Mather. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
