Patricia C. Kelliher Obituary

Patricia Cannon Kelliher, 80, of Magnolia, MA., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023, at her home.

She was born in Watertown, MA on June 25th, 1943, daughter of the late John Cannon and Lillian Fogerty.

Patricia graduated high school from Mt. Trinity Academy, Watertown, MA and later attended Lesley College for her Bachelors and The College of Saint Rose for her Masters degree in Education. As a life-long educator she taught at several elementary schools during her career before retiring from Arongen Elementary in Clifton Park, NY.

She was a long time resident of Clifton Park, NY where she raised her family and was active in many civic organizations and clubs. She retired to Magnolia, MA where she remained active in many community organizations.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert Kelliher; her three sons, Bryan Kelliher and his wife Sarah, Kevin Kelliher and his wife Lynn, Matthew Kelliher and his wife Brenda; and three grandchildren Meghan, Colin and Ella Kelliher; Brother Robert Cannon and his wife Betty; and 10 nieces, nephews and their children that she adored and remained very close to throughout her life.

She is predeceased by her sister, Virginia Martin and her husband Ronald.

Visiting hours will be held in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester, on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, (Visitation Parish), 62 School Street, Manchester-by-the-sea, MA. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
