He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nyers and Ann Nyers; and his son James Nyers Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Nyers; his children, Christopher Nyers (Claudine), Linda Barocsi, Steven Mitchell, Robert Mitchell (Patricia) and D. Michael Mitchell; and his pet Peanut. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren.
