It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Francis Smith Jr. (Clifton Park, New York), born in Albany, New York, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Smith and Elizabeth Hewitt Smith; and his granddaughter Brittany Boivin. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Crouch Smith; his children, Elizabeth Boivin (Bradley), Edward Smith III (Yoshimi) and Donna Brownson; his grandchildren, Benjamin Boivin (Lauren), Maggie Brownson, Conor Smith (Taylor), Genevieve Brimhall (Luke) and Ella Brownson; his great grandchild Beck Boivin; and his brother George Smith (Carolyn). He is also survived by several siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
