She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene LaFond and Mary LaFond (Provost); and her siblings, Sonny LaFond and Irene Markle. She is survived by: her husband James Monroe Sr.; her sons, James (Donna Monroe Jr.) and Jeffrey (Amy Monroe); her sister Betty Prian; her grandchildren, Kellie Brandt, James Monroe III and Jenna Gifford; and her great grandchildren, Emily Monroe and Miles Gifford.
