She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Garcia and Helen Garcia. She is survived by: her husband Richard Homenick; her siblings, James Kavanagh and Eileen Wilson; and her children, Michael, Edward, Susan Sambets, Richard (Mary Jo) and Jennifer Augone. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
True to her selfless nature, Carol had preplanned to donate her body to the Albany Medical College Anatomical Gift Program.
