We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2023, at the age of 90, Sally I. Russell of Clayton, New York, born in Watertown, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce R. Ierlan and Frances H. Duggan Ierlan; her former husband Robert W. Russell; her son Leslie Bruce Russell; her sister Elizabeth Ann Ierlan; her nephew Christopher W. Ierlan; and her brothers, P. Thomas Ierlan, Fred C. "Pete" Ierlan and William B. "Mudcat" Ierlan.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth A. Frye (John C.) of Huber Heights, OH, Kathryn M. Smithmyer (Dennis) of Clermont, FL, Jani D. Hobbs (Thomas), Robert I. Russell (Patricia N.) and Delmar; her grandchildren, Sara, John, Amanda, Grace, Thomas, Michael, Amelia, Leah, Katelyn, Benjamin, Matthew and Emily; and her sisters-in-law, Terry Ierlan of Clayton and Barbara Ierlan of Clayton. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
