He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Floyd Newman and Eleanor Bach Newman. He is survived by: his girlfriend Renee Molinere; his children, Jaimie Newman (Keith Murphy) and Brian Newman (Megan Boright Newman); the mother of his children Susan Faro Newman; his grandsons, Bode and Rory Newman; his sisters, Cara Newman Steidel (David), Amy Newman and Jill Newman Camuti (Vincent); and his nieces, Elizabeth, Selena and Samantha Moreno.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212).
