She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Anthony Commegna and Constance Commegna (Fallica); her husband Gene Patella; her daughter Christine; her son-in-law Ed Diffley; her granddaughter Tara Holmes; her great grandchild Talon Murray; and her sisters, Mildred Grilli and Emily Micelli.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jean's name are encouraged to be made to the People's Bible Church.
