He is survived by: his parents, Walter Doty and Sophia Doty (Piasta); his wife Shirley Doty (Tratnack); and his children, Thomas Doty (Wendy), Gerald Doty (Laura) of Ghent and Cindee Piccola of Ghent. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
