He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick N. Leicht and Margarete Leicht (Dӧll); and his wife Dolores M. Leicht. He is survived by: his sister Dorothy B. Jahns of Livingston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Columbia-Greene Humane Society.
