Barbara May Scalera Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara May Scalera of Claverack, New York, who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Belterman and Jeanette Belterman (Murray) of Ghent, NY.; and her son David Scalera. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph and James Scalera; her grandchildren, Danielle Michielini (Michael), JJ, Arianna Scalera, Michael and Gregory Scalera; her great grandchildren, Brennley and Greyson; her siblings, Richard Belterman, Claudia Belterman and Jeanette Mickle; and her sister-in-law Betty Miller.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacco Funeral Home (700 Town Hall Dr, Hudson, NY 12534). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the Cedar Park Cemetery (20 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY 12144).
