It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Ada (Shoddy) Groesbeck of Clarksville, New York, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry G. Shoddy Sr. and Iola P. Shoddy (Hotaling); and her brothers, Richard K. Shoddy (Vicky) and Gerald F. Shoddy (Harriet). She is survived by: her daughter Denise Shoddy; her grandchildren, Ashley Brainard (Jonathan) and Morgan Moak; her brother Henry G. Shoddy Jr. (Joan); her husband Charles M. Groesbeck; her stepdaughters, Celeste Van Dyke, Denise Joslyn (Bradley), Cheryl Lynch and Donna VanHoesen (Scott); and her stepgrandchildren, Becky, Maria, Nicole, Amanda, Sierra, Cheyenne, Wyatt, Danielle, Heather and Leann. She is also survived by several step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
