He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Shelmerdine and Mildred Shelmerdine; his wife Shirley Shelmerdine (Flansburg); and his brother Robert "Ranny" Shelmerdine. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Shelmerdine (Melissa), Sandra Shelmerdine and Barbara Heineman (Matt); his grandchildren, Lauren, Keith, Connor Heineman and Rhyan Shelmerdine; his sisters, Marion Court and Mildred Roosa; and his sister-in-law Sally Shelmerdine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
