She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Failing and Mrea Coulter Failing. She is survived by: her husband William A Bender Sr.; her sons, William Bender, Jr. (Linda) of Central Square and John Bender of Clark Mills; and her grandson William Bender III of Morgantown.

Any donations can be made to the New Hartford United Methodist Church.
