He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mick, Marty, Roy, Sam and Stella Sargent.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Chris Chilson (Debbie Fiorito), Renee Monroy (Rafael), Denise Wilson (Kevin Miller), Mandy Roth (Keith), Kristi Chilson and Dakota Chilson; and his siblings, Roger Chilson (Hazel Bickham), Dora Tice (Jim), Nora Walters (Jerry), Larry Chilson (Rita), Linda McDonald (Dan), Leota McClure (Duane) and Bruce Chilson (Emily). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
