She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, MaryLou Schmelzer and George Schmelzer; her boyfriend Bob Szywala; her sons, Don Battaglia, Billy Battaglia (Courtney) and Eric Battaglia (Morgan); her stepchildren, Andrew Szywala and Katie Szywala (Jesus Bonilla); her grandchildren, EJ, Isla, Jaylee, Jensen, Jaminsen, Jinalyz and Jedisen; and her siblings, Bob Schmelzer (Debbie), George Schmelzer (Lisa) and Jamie Schmelzer. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
