He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dr. Susan Erk D. O.; his children, Tarik Erk (Laura), Kemal Erk, Sibel Thornbury (David), Timur Erk and Troy Erk; and his siblings, Fusun and Ahmet Erk.
