She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley F. Karas; her grandson Alex; and her parents, Joseph Wegryzn and Genevieve Wegryzn. She is survived by: her children, Robert (Lynn), Kathlyn, Josette Wahl (late Michael), Brian (Luci), Paulette (Dale), Joseph (Karen), Stan and James (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Jaime (Andy), Chris (Kasia), Nick (Jessica), Jen (Bob), Britt (Ryan), Brianna (EJ) and Zack (Jen); and her brother John Wegrzyn (Mary). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

If desired, contributions may be made in Jeanne's memory to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. The family has chosen to send donations to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center C/O the Multiple Myeloma Dept.
