We bid farewell to Janet M. Cady of Clarence, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 24, 2025 at the age of 86. Janet touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her daughter Denise Barham; and her sister Nancy Fiolek. She is survived by: her husband Ivan Cady; her children, Kevin Cady (Karen) and Darlene Cady (Richard Urbanski); her grandchildren, Michael (Sara), Matthew (Kim), Joel (Morgan Augustine), Sarah (Matt) and Dustin (Katelyn Starkweather); and her sisters, Betty Andrews (late David) and Kathy Ford (Douglas). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home (13228 Broadway, Alden, NY 14004). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Patricia Allen Fund-Benefiting John R. Oishei Hospital.
