He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Mediak; and his sister Theresa Nowak (Joseph). He is survived by: his child Dominique Pirigyi (Bryan); his grandchildren, Sophia and Ethan; and his siblings, Robert Mediak (Betty), Thomas Mediak (late Twylah), Christine Keicher (late Norman), Alfred Mediak (Grace) and Michael Mediak (Marie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
