Lucille T. Ess Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucille T. Ess of Clarence Center, New York, who passed away on February 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Robert F. Klinko, Jr. (Donna); her parents, Adam Podlas and Regina Podlas; and her siblings, Rita (Edward), David (Augustine), Bernadette (Richard) and Diane (Gerald).

She is survived by: her husband William G. Ess, Jr.; her children, Debbie Ziolkowski (Paul), Susie Gortzig, Shirley Neumeister, Barb Sanchioni (James), Christopher Klinko, Tracy Lehr (Tim) and William A. Ess (Jen); her grandchildren, Ben (Dawn), Sarah (Craig), Mary, Andy (Sam), McKaye (Noah), Alex (Connor), Jake (Lindsay), Joe (Autumn), Emma, Devin, Breyden, Andrea (Brian), Olivia, Lenny (Kenzie), Camryn, Brooke (Matt), Gaige and Dalton; her great grandchildren, Will, Charlotte, Isaiah, Gavin, Amaya, Ben, Ellie, Jameson, Beau, Landon, Colt, Jacob, Kennedy, Quinn, Jude, Camilla, Lucy, Nash and Desmond; and her siblings-in-law, Carol Weldon (Mike) and Tom Ess (Wendy). She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (4275 Harris Hill Rd, Buffalo, NY 14221).

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lucille's memory may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
