He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Francis and Martha McConaghy (Tully) of Mary's Star. He is survived by: his children, Robert (Stephanie), Brian (Jennifer), Kristin and Erin; his grandchildren, Meghan, Andrew, Kevin, Nicholas, Ella and Jack; and also Elizabeth (Fennel).

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, Inc. (16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle, NY 10805). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Star of the Sea RC Church (596 City Island Ave, Bronx, NY 10464). A Mass was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 10:00 PM to 10:45 PM at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church (596 City Island Ave, Bronx, NY 10464).
