He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen Hoffman and John Hoffman; his former wife Sally; his daughter Mary; and his brother Joseph.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Kate and John; his son-in-law Tony; and his grandchildren, Eileen, Dan, Jack, Tom, Allie and Charlotte.
