He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Zwart and Elsie Zwart; his wives, Marilyn Eckler Zwart and Josephine Meikle-Zwart; and his brother Bertram Zwart.
He is survived by: his children, Ed Zwart (Dory), Bonnie Zylstra (John), Donna Thompson, Charlie Zwart (Susan), Arnie Zwart (Gina), Brian Zwart, Gail Sebring (Ed) and Linda Cormier (Lee); his sister June VanderSchaaf; his sister-in-law Arline Zwart Edwards; his nephew James Meikle (Pamela); and his niece Deborah Houck. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
