She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald; her sister Peggy-Jean Tyndall; her grandson August; and her stepfather Charlie Cairns. She is survived by: her parents, Royce William East and Louise Cairns (Sacra); her children, Sarah Nicklas, Jeremy Nicklas (Audrey), Matthew Nicklas, Stephen Nicklas (Bree), James Nicklas, Katie Nicklas and Bethany Eden (Calvin); her grandchildren, Nicole, Hailey, Constantine, Andrew, Zoe and Cadence; her niece Susan Bourdeau; and her parents-in-law, Helen Nicklas and Charles Nicklas.
