We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2024, at the age of 89, Josephine Meikle of Circleville, New York, born in Wallkill, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sikke Kolk and Alice Drenth Kolk; her former husband Thomas G. Meikle; her siblings, Henry, Cornelius, Simon Kolk and Antoinette Budine; and her grandson Christopher Houck.
She is survived by: her husband Peter Zwart of Circleville; her children, James T. Meikle (Pamela) of Troy, NY and Deborah Houck of Hurleyville, NY; her grandchildren, Ryan Meikle (Alexis), Devin Morse (Brittney), Daniel Houck, Lindsey Houck, Amanda Fetteroff (Kurt) and Charles Houck; her sister Anna Reyns of Siler City, NC; and her nieces and nephews, Ed Zwart (Dora), Bonnie Zylstra (John), Donna Thompson, Charlie Zwart (Susan), Arnie Zwart (Gina), Brian Zwart, Gail Sebring (Ed) and Linda Cormier (Lee). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews.
