She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Gumm and Sadie Jane Gumm (Jenkins); her husband James Hemming; her grandson Andy Konkler; and her son-in-law Russell W. Troyer.

She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Rigsby (Larry) of Williamsport and Melinda Troyer of Circleville; her grandchildren, Sadie Shoemaker, Allen Rigsby (Mandi) and Hilary Rigsby; and her great grandchildren, Aaliyah Konkler, Makenna Auflick, Maxton Bosworth, Mason Rigsby, Wyatt Rigsby and Swayer Rigsby.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the church.
