He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Holly Foster Marvin; his children, Heather Stafford (Vastni) of Pitcher, Leslie Frink (Gary) of Cincinnatus, Tristan Marvin of Norwich and Diana Marvin of Pharsalia; his parents, Harold Marvin, Sr. (Carol Grant) of Cincinnatus and Marlene Harris Marvin of McGraw; his grandchildren, L. J., Garrett, Greta and Murphy; and his siblings, Kathy Marvin of Ithaca, Gordon Marvin (Jodi) of Fulton and Shawn Marvin of Oswego. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
