He was predeceased by: his parents, William McElligott and Myrtie McElligott; his brother William (Denise); his siblings-in-law, Richard Loomis (Sharon) and Gordyne Loomis; and his son-in-law Scott Karlnoski (Maureen).

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Timothy McElligott (Mary), Maureen Karlnoski (Scott) and Colleen McElligott; and his brothers, Patrick, Daniel and Thomas. He is also survived by 7 grand- children, 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent Church (11 N Main St, Churchville, NY 14428).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sunset House (3746 Saint Paul Blvd, Rochester, NY 14617) sunsethouse.info in Tim's memory.

“To Aunt Mary Ann and family, I was very grateful to Uncle Tim and Aunt Mary Ann for taking care of me when I was a teenager. I know I wasn't very easy to get along with.,but I appreciate all the care and patience you both gave me.
