He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara; his daughters, Patti Ottley (Bob) and Marie Frew (Jeff); his grandchildren, Mike Ottley (Kellie) and Beth Ottley (Leah Rodriguez); his great grandchildren, Olivia and Jacob Ottley; and his siblings, George Hiza (Carolyn) and Pat Falk. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be gratefully accepted at Wilmot Cancer Center, Leroy Village Green Nursing Home, or Lollypop Farm in Joe's memory.
