He was predeceased by: his father Thomas A. Holgate Sr.; and his sister Nancy Ann Holgate. He is survived by: his mother Nadine E. Holgate; his wife Sheila Holgate (Canale) of Chittenango; his children, Katherine Holgate of Syracuse and Christopher Holgate of Central Square; his siblings, Thomas A. Holgate Jr. of Syracuse, Nadine Vannelli of Mesa, AZ and Maureen Tiano-Gooch of Napa, CA.; and his pets, Sophie, Uber and Ickabod.
