He is survived by: his wife Judith; his sons, John Beals and Mathew Beals of Phoenix; his granddaughter Kathryn Beals of Ormond Beach, FL; and his sister Lorraine Hurrell of Rochester, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
