He was predeceased by: his parents, Walt Haynes and Marilyn Haynes; and his sister Constance Angell. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie; his daughters, Heather LaPlante (Jonathan) and Christy Knapp (Patrick); and his brother Steve Haynes. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
