She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Conte and Philomena Conte; her husband John E. "Jack" Murray; and her brother Joseph V. Conte. She is survived by: her children, John J. Murray (Christine) of Anthem, AZ, Theresa A. Tardy (William) of Indianapolis, IN and Christopher A. Murray (Pamela) of Chittenango, NY; her grandchildren, Wayne, Jessica, Bradley, John, Joseph and Hannah; her great grandchild Landon; her sister Theresa Halverson (David) of Clifton Park, NY; and her sister-in-law Marianne Conte of Oneida, NY. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the G. F. Zimmer Funeral Home (702 Legion Dr, Chittenango, NY 13037). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (1341 Murray Dr, Chittenango, NY 13037).
In lieu of flowers, family and friends are encouraged to make a donation to the American Cancer Society in memory of Maria.
