She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Machut and Honor Fahey Machut; her husband Tom of Patrick's Parish; and her sister Barbara Marshall (Machut). She is survived by: her brothers, Thomas Machut (Paula) of Liverpool and James Machut (late Linda Rowsey) of Phoenix, Arizona; her children, Nancy Scherr (Thomas) of Buffalo, Kathleen (Kitty), Thomas Heick (Kristine) of Georgia, Daniel Heick (Lynn) of Virginia and Patrick Heick (Gretchen) of Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Danielle Scherr Ohl (Thomas), Christopher Scherr, Matthew Scherr (Alexandria), Alexandra Bersani (Virginia), Christian Bersani, Hunter Heick, Gabriel Heick, Meghan Heick Henderson (Landon), Ryan Heick (Megan), Kayla Heick and Tessa Heick; and her great grandchildren, Siena, Madelyn, Brogan Ohl and Amelia Scherr. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Church (4112 E Genesee St, Syracuse, NY 13214). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Saint Mary's Cemetery (4100 E Genesee St, Syracuse, NY 13214).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
