He is survived by: his wife Esther Hoose (Tucci); his sons, George Hoose (Kathy) of Ohio, Robert Hoose of Chittenango and Daniel Hoose of Bronx, NY; his sister Patricia Zack of Tennessee; and his granddaughters, Sara Louise and Emily Monica. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
