He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Crystal and Veronica Crystal (Galowitz). He is survived by: his wife Leslie Susan Crystal (Brown); his children, Amy Frenzel (Kurt), Brett Crystal (Patricia), Gregg Crystal (Sharon) and Alison Patkochis (Brad); and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Trevor, Brianna Crystal, Kaitlyn Frenzel, Jacob, Lucas Crystal, Mason and Zac Patkochis.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
