He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Bill" Shanahan and Margaret Shanahan (Russ); his wife Clara Mae Baxter; his daughter Molly Morency (Chris); his grandson Joseph Morency; and his stepson Glen TenEyck.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Graham (Ron) of Morrisville, Shawn Shanahan (Nancy) of Philadelphia, PA, Bridgette Bordell (Mike) of Chittenango, Erin Loope of Chittenango and Megan Shanahan of Chittenango; and his stepchildren, Joyce Petrie Sills (Donald), Dana Chiasson, Andre Chiasson and Mary Chiasson Shanahan (Brain). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
