He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse J. Edgin and Doris Audell Edgin (Oberlin). He is survived by: his wife Janet Erb; his daughters, Karen Garrett (Chris) and Kathleen Edgin; his grandchildren, Persephone and Tyr Garrett; and his brothers, Darryl Edgin (Kathy), Gary Edgin (Marilyn), Marcy and Brian Edgin (Joyce). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in David's name may be made to the American Heart Association, American Legion or United Cerebral Palsy of Utica.
