He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Austin and Nelson Austin; his sister Merrie Alice Austin; and his son-in-law Alan Goda. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Carr; his children, Jeffrey Austin of Canastota, Dawn Goda of Stanley, NY and Pamela Murray (Christopher) of Chittenango; and his grandchildren, Bradley, John, Joseph, Alan Jr., Natasha, Katrina and Dominic.
