He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester J. Williams and Louise Williams. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Williams (Glasgow-Howe); his son Kip Williams (Steffani); his stepchildren, Joe Howe and Tonya Murdie (Mike); and his stepgrandson Lance Murdie.
He served as a member of the board of trustees for the Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum for a number of years and was dedicated to preserving the village of Chittenango's contribution to the history of the Erie Canal.
