She was predeceased by: her siblings, William Carpenter, Mary Ellen Batista and Raymond Kozma; her brother-in-law Donald Bower; and her grandchildren, Kayla Flansburg and Jeremy Harvey.
She is survived by: her husband John N. Sakran; her children, John R. Sakran (Julie) of Monson, MA, Laurie Rhoads (Andrew) of North Syracuse, NY, Melody Whiting (Ricky Jones) of Waterloo, NY and Tracy Payrot (Howard) of Cicero, NY; and her siblings, Doris Bower of Clay, NY and Donald Kozma of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
