He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Sweeney and Donna Myers Sweeney; his wife Suzanne; his sons, Michael Owen Sweeney (Jennifer) of Newton, MA and John Patrick Sweeney (Karen Nicole) of Hope Valley, RI; his sister Diane Von Holtz (George) of Oswego; and his grandsons, Aidan, Liam and Dylan of Newton, MA.
