He is survived by: his mother Nancy Burkhardt Canavan of Manlius; his wife Sherri of Chittenango; his son Brian; his stepdaughter Emily Flaum; and his brothers, Jeffrey and Patrick. He is also survived by several cousins, nephews, nieces.
