He was predeceased by: his wife Renee Schlau; his son Dean Schlau; and his sister Lois Weir. He is survived by: his children, Dale Schlau and Lori Martin of Delaware; his stepchildren, John Winn (Mary), Shawn Kinville of Chittenango, Kathleen Fehrman of Munnsville, Ruth MacDonald (Doug) of Oneida, Maureen Winn of Chittenango and Colleen Emmons (Eddie) of Chittenango; and his siblings, Charles Schlau of Tonawanda, Jack Schlau of Canada and Myrtle Rustay of Georgia.
