He is survived by: his wife Ellen M. Hebert (Wagner); his sons, James E. Hebert of Livingston and Shayne P. Hebert of Davenport, Florida; his granddaughter Sophia M. Hebert; and his sister Joan Cole. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
