It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma L. McConnell of Chestertown, New York, born in Chester, New York, who passed away on November 19, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Harvey and Irene Harvey; her husband Thomas McConnell; her siblings, Bobbie Jo Stetson, Robert Harvey, Patty Harvey and Londa Kenyon; and her close friend Olga LaPell.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas John McConnell (Lynne) of Peterborough, NH, Deborah Ann Freebern (Henry) of Hudson Falls, Kathy Marie Hurlock (Timothy) of Farmington, CT, Sandra Lee Hayes (Rick) of Hudson Falls and Michael Joseph McConnell (Gay) of Glastonbury, CT; her grandchildren, Jami (Jon), Matthew (Dani), Lance (Megan), Shane (Jill), Joshua, Joe, Ashley (McCrea) and Corinne; her great grandchildren, Lukas, Grace, Emma, Claire, Parker, Carson, Mason, Cole, Madison, Chase, Ayla, Presley, Daphne and Luke; her sister Alice; and her siblings-in-law, Judy McConnell of Chestertown and Paul Kenyon of North Creek. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
