It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William J. Murray of Chester, New York, born in Middletown, New York, who passed away on September 12, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L. Muray Sr. and Lillian Murray (Diffily); and his siblings, Jean Murphy, Elizabeth Carey, Barbara Karl, Harry Jr., Robert, James and John Murray (Carole Marshall).

He is survived by: his sister Mary Kay Campbell of Arizona; and his close friend Eileen Hand. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers Bill's family requests that memorial donations be made in his name to the Goshen Historic Track and The Fireman's Home in Hudson, NY.
